Heather received her BS in nursing from the University of Utah. After working in labor and delivery, newborn nursery, same day surgery, and school nursing, she decided to complete her Master’s degree and the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned her MSN. She specializes in pediatric primary care and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She has worked in both urgent care and primary care as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Graduating with honors from both her bachelor’s and master’s programs, Heather is committed to professional growth and has taken courses towards an Institute of Functional Medicine certification. She is also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support. Heather believes that she is a partner with parents to help promote health for their children. Heather adores her family and has been married to her husband for 24 years. Together, they have five kids and a sweet dog. In her spare time, Heather can be found watching her kids’ swim meets or traveling to see them. She is also the proud mama of a member of the US Air Force. To stay healthy, Heather enjoys indoor cycling and yoga.
