Anna Almaguer, MSN, RN, FNP-C was born in Toledo Ohio and raised in Houston Texas. She received her Associates of Science Degree in Nursing from Lone Star Community College in 2004. Upon graduating, she started her nursing career in Pediatric Cardiology at Texas Children’s Hospital in Texas Medical Center. As an acute care and step-down nurse, she has dedicated herself to the specialty of pediatrics for over ten years. Eager to continue her education, she returned to The University of Texas Health Science Center in 2004 to obtain her bachelor’s Degree an in 2013 completed her Master’s Degree. Proud member of nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau and graduating with honors throughout both her Bachelors and Master’s program, Anna Almaguer is determined to grow in her professional career.
Now Family Nurse Practioner, she is certified by the Academy Associate of Nurse practitioners and is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Also certified in Pediatric Advance life support and Basic Life Support, she is committed to serving the pediatric population. Passionate in providing quality and holistic care, she is family oriented and enthusiastic to care for you and your family’s needs.
