We celebrate 13 years!
We celebrate our 13th Anniversary. Weekare had a celebration that was organized by management and staff as a team. All of the volunteers for the day were employees’ children who are also patients of WKP. Weekare provided all the volunteers with T-shirts of the event, also provided snacks of Shipley Donuts and Orange Juice and for lunch cookies and punch. Our celebration of Ribbon Cutting
Last Wednesday July 12th, WeeKare celebrated Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of our second clinic on presence of our founder Angel Munoz. NICU named for area’s first neonatologist
– Dr. Angel Munoz honored by Memorial Hermann, Northeast Hospital Authority – By Tom Broad Tribune Correspondent Neonatologist Angel Munoz knew little Nathan Reynolds was going to be a challenge. Little Nathan was a newborn and he kept dying. That’s why, back in 1996, Nathan was in Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital’s new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). “He kept dying on us,” recalls Margaret Miller, a NICU nurse trained by Dr. Munoz, who spent many days caring for little Nathan.
Memorial Hermann honored Dr. Angel Muñoz
Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital unveiled an expanded and fully renovated Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) during a ceremony that also honored beloved neonatologist Dr. Ángel Muñoz, MD, MPH. Memorial Hermann Northeast Neonatologist Angel Munoz, M.D. is recognized during National Healthcare Quality Week by Northeast’s Healthcare Improvement Department. Dr. Muñoz was recognized for his outstanding leadership and support in improving the Hospital’s neonatal care, by implementing and fostering compliance with Central Line Bundles.
