Effective March 18, 2020, WeeKare Pediatrics we are taking the following measures to help reduce the potential exposure in our clinic.
• We have made the decision to separate our office visits for the time being to limit exposure.
• We are ENFORCING our well and sick lobby designated areas. This is to limit exposure.
• Our Walk-In Monday will remain the same as our patient know of this. We will be taking extra precautions doing phone and in person screenings.
o Walk-In Monday will remain for only sick appointments in the morning. 8am to 9am first come first served basis.
o Monday afternoon will be for well visit.
• Tuesday through Friday we will be scheduling our appointments as follows:
o Well appointments with no sick issues present will be scheduled in the mornings. 8am-11am
o Well visits with sick issues and sick visits will be scheduled in the afternoons. 1pm-4pm
o This is to ensure we keep our community healthy and minimize exposure.
o We will have to reschedule well visit appointments with sick issues for the afternoon. We are doing the best to limit exposure.
o Appointments must be scheduled
• We are also LIMITING additional guest in the office and the exam room.
o One or two children; One (1) parent/guardian
o For families of three (3) or more; Two (2) adults.
o We hope our families can understand this change.
• Parents please come in and sign in children being seen. We are providing two options
1. Wait in the lobby in the designated sick lobby section. Or
2. Wait in the car. If deciding to wait in the car, a good working phone number must be provided and from the time of the call for triage, child and parent/guardian must come in the office within three (3) minutes. We will be doing the best to triage as quick as possible.
We want to ensure our children remain current with their vaccines and developmental screenings. Please schedule your child’s well child appointment today.
We have implemented a phone and in person screening questionnaire to take additional steps to reduce exposure.
We ask that when coughing and sneezing to please cover your mouth/nose or use a tissue and throw away in the trash. Wash your hands after coughing and sneezing. We have hand sanitizers available throughout our office but our supply is very limited with nationwide shortages.

• Nuestro lunes sin cita seguira igual en la manana para enfermos solamente. Tomaremos precauciones adicionales para hacer exámenes telefónicos y en persona.
o El lunes sin cita permanecerá solo para citas por enfermedad en la mañana. 8am a 9am como vaya llegando.
o El lunes por la tarde será solamente citas para revisiones anuales.
• De martes a viernes, programaremos nuestras citas de la siguiente manera:
o Las citas de revisiones de Desarrollo sin problemas de enfermedad presentes se programarán por las mañanas. 8 am-11am
o Las visitas de revisiones de desarrollo con problemas de enfermedad y las visitas de enfermedad se programarán por las tardes. 1 pm-4pm
o Esto es para asegurar que mantengamos a nuestra comunidad saludable y minimicemos la exposición.
o Tendremos que reprogramar citas de visitas con problemas de enfermedad por la tarde. Estamos haciendo lo mejor para limitar la exposición.
o Las citas deben ser programadas
• También estamos LIMITANDO invitados adicionales en la oficina y en la cuarto de examen.
o Uno o dos niños; Un (1) padre / tutor

Tenemos desinfectantes para manos disponibles en toda la oficina, pero nuestro suministro es muy limitado debido a la escasez en todo el país.
